DESCRIPTION:The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce hosts first annual Career & Technical Expo. The Career & Technical Expo provides a balanced exhibition of the industries which make up our region. It is our belief that creating career ready graduates\, we are paving the way for our youth to contribute to the economic sustainability of our region. \n\n\n\nThe goal of the Expo is to educate students about the variety of career opportunities in the region and the skills needed to acquire those jobs. It is a great opportunity for businesses to connect with the future workforce to encourage them now to acquire the skills they will need to be successful in the industry later. Working with middle school students nearing high school provides you an opportunity to help sustain future economic stability while giving student the chance to explore career choices available in our region.\n\n\n\nThis event will be attended by the more than 700 seventh grade students from Bedford County Public Schools.
