DESCRIPTION:The Bedford Area Chamber is Proud to be an event partner for the following event:\n\n\n\nThe Worlds of Opportunity Career Expo is an opportunity to be a part of the pathway that will attract youth to business with in-demand careers. More than 3\,500 regional middle and high school students will be invited to attend and explore career opportunities for their future. Four zones\, are identified as potential career pathways to jobs in our area. Each zone will provide hands-on demonstrations and interactive activities to create a relevant job awareness for students.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nThere is no cost for businesses to exhibit. Please complete Worlds of Opportunity Career Expo form and the Activities Sheet form by Friday\, March 15\, if you would like to participate.\n\n\n\nThis career pathway resource is funded in part with funds the from U. S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) award (#: AA-32183-18-55-A-51) awarded to the City of Lynchburg on behalf of the Central Virginia Workforce Development Board. Additional matching funds\n\nof $23\,000 comes from the Region 2 Go Virginia Talent Collaborative Grant.\n\n\n\nThe Central Virginia Workforce Development Board and Virginia Career Works Lynchburg/Lynchburg Youth Center are equal opportunity employers/programs.  \n\nAuxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.
