DESCRIPTION:Join us on September 16 as we celebrate The Peaks Retreat & Adventure Center's new disc golf course with a ribbon cutting! The Peaks has been in operation for a little over a year now in Thaxton\, and they are steadily expanding their facility and services -- including a brand new 9-hole disc golf course!\n\n\n\nThe ribbon cutting will be followed by a Beginner's Disc Golf Tournament shotgun start at 9:30 am. Come out and enjoy our beautiful facility\, play some disc golf\, take a dip in the pool\, and enjoy some tasty food.\n\n\n\nThe Peaks Beginner Disc Golf Tournament Details:\n\n\n\n$15 Entry Fee\n\n\n\nShotgun start. Tee Time: 9:30am. Horn start. Arrive at 8:30 am for check-in and hole assignment. There will be 36 total spots available\, with 4 players starting at each tee. Players will play the 9-holes twice\, for a total of 18 holes.\n\n\n\nPrizes\n\n1st - Peaks Adventure Package - Half day (4 hours) of adventure activities for up to 10 of your friends/family. Options include pool party\, low ropes\, zipline\, climbing tower\, archery\, or canoe obstacle course. ($500 value)\n\n\n\n2nd - Peaks Pool Party - 2 hours of pool time for up to 10 of your friends/family.
