DESCRIPTION:Bedford Business Boot Camp\n\nEntrepreneur Development Program\n\nOverview \nBedford Business Boot Camp is an eight-week class that will introduce entrepreneurs to the concepts\, practices\, and tools necessary for business success. The evening classes will be held 6 pm\, every Wednesday\, starting on January 27\, 2016:\n\nJanuary 27: "Introduction to Small Business and Business Plan Overview"\n\nFebruary 3: "Credit: How Do YOU Score\, and How Can You Build It?"\n\nFebruary 10: "Legals: The Foundations for Success"\n\nFebruary 17: "Financials: The Foundations for Success   Part 1"\n\nFebruary 24: "Financials: The Foundations for Success   Part 2"\n\nMarch 2: "Marketing\, Public Relations\, and Advertising   Part 1"\n\nMarch 9: "Marketing\, Public Relations\, and Advertising   Part 2"\n\nMarch 16: Class Presentations and Graduation\n\nAt the end of the program\, each student should have produced a basic small business plan\, and will have the opportunity to present their plan and business concept to the team for consideration for a $5\,000 small business grant to assist them with opening a business establishment. The winning business package(s) will receive up to $5\,000 to provide for rent and utilities\, free membership in the Chamber of Commerce and extensive marketing\, accounting\, and business support. Additional details will be provided at the class. In order to qualify for grant funds\, the selected business MUST locate in Town of Bedford limits.\n\n100% Attendance is mandatory for those interested in being eligible for the grant. Other business owners and entrepreneurs may sign up for individual classes as space permits.\n\nedford Business Boot Camp is an entrepreneur-development program presented by Bedford Main Street Program and partners\, including Central Virginia Community College\, First Citizens Bank\, Union Bank\, and the Town and County of Bedford.\n\nFor additional details\, contact Sara Smith at 540-586-2148. \n\nAdditional information will be available on the first night of classes.
