DESCRIPTION:Join the Bedford Franklin Regional Rail Initiative as we celebrate the start of Passenger Rail Service from Roanoke\, VA with a Rally of Support on Thursday\, November 9 at 6:30 AM.\n\n\n\nWe are asking supporters of a Passenger Rail Stop in the Town of Bedford to join us as we host a rally on the property of the proposed station.  We are looking for community members interested in showing their support to participate in a photo opportunity as the train passes through Bedford.\n\n\n\nThere will be a brief update regarding the Passenger Rail Stop in Bedford and light refreshments and coffee available following the photo opportunity.\n\n\n\nPlease *register in advance if you plan to attend so that we may make appropriate arrangements. LOCATION:Grass field next to railroad Plunkett Street Bedford\, VA Plunkett Street is located directly behind the Town of Bedford Municipal Building and Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce located on Main Street. Parking will be available in the gravel lot across from the proposed rail station location.
