DESCRIPTION:The Bower Center for the Arts welcomes Bedford musical favorite folk singers Ken Horne and Allison Johnson back to our stage for a great evening of music\, entertainment and fun.  \n\nKen and Alli treat their audiences to a show spanning several centuries and many genres of American folk music. From contemporary Americana to sixteenth-century Childe ballads\, from classic blues to country music standards\, they offer a variety of musical styles and arrangements that can only be described as delightfully eclectic. Their new CD "Ken & Alli Live at Hickory Hill" was recorded at the local vineyard.\n\nAlli's sparkling lead vocals and intricate harmonies blend perfectly with Ken's rich baritone. Accompanied by finger-style guitar and six-string banjo with an occasional harmonica bit thrown in\, Ken and Alli create an evening of music that is entertaining\, inspirational\, and mostly\, a whole lot of fun!\n\nIn lieu of a babysitter for the evening\, bring your children ages 5 and up for an art activity in one of our classrooms.  The fee is $5.00 for one child and $8.00 for two which covers materials and teacher's pay.  Reservations for this would be nice so that we can have adequate materials and snacks.
