Bedford County has 152 basketball teams this year. This is teams from all over the county (Bedford, Forest, Boonsboro, Moneta, Stewartsville, Etc.)  It's both boys and girl’s teams. Some teams are co-ed.   It's all age groups (Age 5 to Age 18). By far basketball is the biggest sport that Bedford County offers. We play at 12 elementary school gyms and the County gym on Saturdays starting January 4th. This year with the amount of teams in the county we are playing games on Friday nights too, starting January 3rd.  Every team will be playing ten games this year. Season should wrap up on March 7th.
