Avenel's Paranormal Night

The Avenel Foundation will host its Seventh Annual Paranormal Night at the historic Avenel home in Bedford on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM. Guests will tour Avenel and enjoy learning about Avenel’s fascinating paranormal history from paranormal enthusiasts. Five paranormal groups are participating in Avenel’s Paranormal Night, including Bedford Paranormal, Beyond the Dark Paranormal, H.A.P. Paranormal, Sisters of Salem, and Virginia Infinity Paranormal. Guests will also be entertained by Magician Magic Mike. Guests can enjoy delicious food and beverages in Avenel’s dining room, where ghosts are regularly sighted. During the event guests will have a chance to enter a raffle drawing to participate in a paranormal investigation at Avenel. Event tickets are $10 and will be available to purchase at the door on the night of the event. Built in 1838, Avenel is home to several ghosts. Avenel has appeared on many ghost-hunting television shows, been the focus of numerous newspaper stories, and is regularly rented by paranormal groups for overnight investigations. The Avenel Foundation is a nonprofit organization that rescued the historic Avenel home from decay and destruction in 1985. Today, The Avenel Foundation restores, preserves and protects historic Avenel, a Bedford legacy and unique landmark, for educational and community enjoyment.
