2026 S.M.A.R.T. Networking: Canva Basics

Ready to harness the power of Canva to create better marketing materials? Join us for S.M.A.R.T. Networking: Canva Basics, a hands-on workshop designed specifically for beginner and intermediate Canva users.

Facilitated by Bedford Area Chamber staff members, Kayla Boone and Foster Garrett, this interactive session will provide an overview of Canva's features, time-saving tips, branding best practices, and design strategies for all organizations.

Whether you've never opened Canva before or you've created a few graphics and want to improve your skills, this workshop is designed to meet you where you are. 

By the end of the session, participants will:

• Gain a better understanding of Canva's capabilities
• Learn practical design and branding techniques
• Discover shortcuts and time-saving tools
• Complete at least one marketing piece
• Build connections with local professionals and Canva users

Advanced Canva users are encouraged to attend in order to share their experience and provide guidance to other participants as they work on a marketing project of their choice (social media post, flyer, menu, brochure, presentation, etc.).

To get the most from the workshop, participants are encouraged to bring a laptop, company logo, brand colors and fonts (if available), photos they'd like to use, and a marketing project they'd like to create.
