2026 State of Bedford

As part of our Chamber's efforts to promote Civic Engagement, we have teamed up with Bedford County and the Town of Bedford to organize State of Bedford for the first time in 2026.

This comprehensive educational advocacy event offers businesses and community members the opportunity to hear directly from the public administrators at the helm of Bedford's two local governments: County Administrator Robert Hiss and Town Manager Bart Warner. 

Mr. Hiss and Mr. Warner will provide an overview of their respective government organizations and highlight current and upcoming government projects, initiatives, and focus areas.

This event is a great precursor to the Bedford Forum, which will be held on September 3 at Liberty Middle School. The Forum is an opportunity for Bedford residents to get to know the candidates running for state and local positions prior to Election Day.
