2026 State of Bedford

As part of our Chamber's efforts to promote Civic Engagement, we have teamed up with Bedford County and the Town of Bedford to organize State of Bedford for the first time in 2026.

This comprehensive educational advocacy event offers businesses and community members the opportunity to hear directly from the public administrators at the helm of Bedford's two local governments: County Administrator Robert Hiss and Town Manager Bart Warner. 

Robert and Bart will provide an overview of their respective government organizations, including hierarchy, departments, funding, taxes, and more. They'll also highlight current and upcoming government projects, initiatives, and focus areas.
