Ribbon Cutting - Camp Virginia Jaycee
Join the Bedford Area Chamber in celebrating Camp Virginia Jaycee with a Ribbon Cutting!
Camp Virginia Jaycee (www.campvajc.org) is a non-profit recreational summer camp located in Blue Ridge, Virginia and accredited by the American Camping Association. Our mission is to provide a safe, outdoor environment where children and adults with autism or an intellectual disability can learn lifelong recreational and social skills while their families have a respite.
45 years ago, the Virginia Jaycees sold Apple Jelly one jar at a time to form Camp Virginia Jaycee. This weekend we will honor our Founder Bill Robertson and all the donors, volunteers and supporters that continue to serve the many families across Virginia.
