2026 Grand Opening: ACG Hospice
We're excited to welcome ACG Hospice to its new Forest location with a Grand Opening ceremony! ACG Hospice opened their Forest branch in July in order extend care to Lynchburg City, as well as Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell county. Join us in the celebration with finger foods and light refreshments!

2026 Ribbon Cutting: Comcast
We're excited to celebrate the completion of Comcast's broadband expansion project in Forest, VA with a ribbon-cutting ceremony! ?? This expansion connected nearly 7,000 homes and businesses in Forest to Xfinity and Comcast Business services, providing a new choice for high-speed Internet, mobile, and business connectivity solutions. Join Comcast and community leaders as we celebrate this milestone, including remarks from Terry Ellis, Vice President of Government and Community Affairs at Comcast; Virginia State Senator, Mark Peake; and Bedford County Administrator, Robert Hiss. Comcast will have its local experts on-site to meet with residents and answer questions about the new services now available in the community. Networking: Grant Writing, an interactive workshop led by Jo Anne Miller, Executive Director of Brook Hill Farm, designed to help organizations build the foundation needed to pursue grant funding with confidence.
