2025 Fall Job Fair Connects 275+ Job Seekers with Local Employers
The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to share the success of our 2025 Fall Job Fair, held on Friday, August 22, at Blue Ridge Community Church. This year’s event brought together 31 employers and more than 275 job seekers— an increase of over 100 attendees compared to our Spring Job Fair in April.
The energy in the room was a clear sign of Bedford’s economic momentum. From healthcare and education to manufacturing, construction, public service, and beyond, employers represented a wide range of industries vital to our region. Each exhibitor had the chance to connect face-to-face with motivated job seekers, many of whom are eager to work, live, and grow their careers in Bedford County and surrounding areas.
What makes this event unique is its focus on meaningful connections. In addition to job opportunities, attendees benefited from resources like professional clothing support and childcare, helping to reduce barriers to employment and ensure more people could participate fully.
“This is what the Chamber is all about — connecting people and opportunities in a way that strengthens both businesses and the workforce,” said Kayla Boone, President/CEO of the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce. “When employers and job seekers come together under one roof, the entire community benefits.”
We’re especially proud that over 70% of participating employers were not current Chamber members — a strong reminder that Chamber-led initiatives extend beyond our membership base to serve the broader community.
The Chamber thanks all participating employers, job seekers, volunteers and sponsors who made this event a success. Together, we’re building a stronger workforce and a thriving Bedford economy.
📅 Save the date! Our next Job Fair will be held in Spring 2026. More details coming soon.
